coach elliot

I first started climbing in 2003 when my dad took me to a gym in Boulder, I quickly fell in love with the sport and have been climbing ever since. I first joined Team ATX in 2004, introducing me to competitive climbing which fostered a passion and commitment to push myself and drive the bar higher. Through the team I gained extensive experience in the competitive scene, leading me to be able to go to nationals in both bouldering and sport.. Team ATX introduced me to some of my best friends and took to some of my now favorite places. Climbing to me now is everything; it brings me relaxation, happiness, and confidence.

coach christina

I was introduced to climbing about 8 years ago, but it took a few years for it to become the large part of my life that it is now. Climbing, to me, is consistently a huge inspiration, a source of mental and physical strength, a form of meditation, of creativity, a way to see the world, and a way to connect with a community. I truly enjoy working with the next generation of young climbers; sharing with them the huge amount of things to be gained from climbing. I've climbing in Oregon (where I'm originally from), Texas, and Colorado, and my journey is just beginning.

I first started climbing in 1999/2000 when a friend took me to a gym. It didn't take long for me to discover real rock, and it's been a source of joy for me ever since. I've been fortunate enough to travel to my favorite areas, work in many facets of the industry, and work with/meet great folks along the way. This is my roughly my 10th year coaching, and it's a pleasure to work with a great program here in Austin.
